I remember as a 5 or 6 year old little kid, I would set my alarm on the edge of my bunk bed for 5:30a.m.
It gave me 30 min to wake up, do my chores and have time to wait by the tv for VH1 to show Michael Jackson music videos and concert replays. Besides the kid in my Pre-K class, MJ was my first crush 😂😂😂 !!!! I had my uncle teach me how to record on the VCR. He bought me some blank tapes to do it.
Like a lot of other people, he was my first inspiration for entertainment.
And...like many dancers... he was someone I imitated... (yes..i still do. Hahaha)
I tend to backtrack to people I admired as a kid nowadays when I start to become inspired after long periods of stillness.
After Michael, there was Wade Robson...who, low and behold, got to tour with Michael as a kid.
I've been on an MJ kick the entire time I have been over here. I've been stalking Wade Robson's instagram and finding inspiration in more than one area of life.
I feel the need to create again.
..I'm breathing again.. It's nice.
..but I sure do miss being able to wake up to watch the King of Pop on my tv screen.
I mean...just look at that smile!!! Urgh. Lol
