Exactly 5 years ago I participated in my first #SpartanRace in Miami. I instantly caught the #OCR bug, and it changed the way I trained. Sets got more intense, rest periods got shorter and incorporated body-weight "active rest" movements, I started back running etc. Suddenly I had a tangible goal to train towards, and performance-training began to mean something. I have not run a Spartan in 2 1/2 years due to back-to-back knee injuries, but am excited to be participating in the April 29th weekend Miami Sprint.
