Blogging with a long black and bottle of water. I'm making the 24 hour trip back to NZ so have fueled up with my high fat protein smoothie for breakfast, an omelette for lunch with some ham, cheese and spinach and now picking up some snacks for the plane and when hunger hits. Snacks are nuts (not roasted or heavily salted) pumpkin seeds and an apple. In my hand luggage is my shaker with a serve of Zrii Dutch chocolate protein loaded with vitamins and minerals. During the flight I'll also take my supplements: vitamin c, probiotics and Zrii Omega-3 fish oils. Of course, on the plane with my evening meal, I'll have a glass of my beloved red, but I'll also be hydrating super well around it. During the flight, I'll walk around, stretch and take the opportunity to get more water. Biggest tip is be prepared with an array of healthy snacks so you never reach that hanger level when your blood sugar drops too low because that's no fun for anyone.
