I'm majoring global studies. This semester, I'm taking a Jewish History class that is about holocaust. It is the saddest class ever. Sometimes my professor cries because it's too emotional to explain and discussion, and he always apologize to us.... This note is about the categories of people who were imprisoned in Auschwitz. Learning about history could be kinda deterrence for repeating of awful human activities.
However, we still are struggling with many conflicts between religious groups, historical interests, races, colors.... why do people hate each other because of differences of specific features? I'm really depressed about these conflicts. Is it possible that we just become friends and kind to others, not to be egoistic like pursuing own interest. I don't believe specific religion, and celebrate Christmas, New Years in Shinto's way, and someone's wedding with catholic priests (I'm not sure they are real priests tho) and Shinto. Also i went to the catholic kindergarten. We held funerals in the way of Buddhism. My parents also don't have any religions. Maybe y'all think I just don't know how it's complicated because I don't have own religion, but I exactly can see the conflicts between you guys because I'm outside. And I do want understand each histories of religions. Not only religions. History of races, countries, politics... there're so many things I have to know, but we need to do it to understand each other and to create peace of the world, I believe.... I just love the world we live.
