Well, went out last night. Had pizza at 2am. Came home this morning and ate the Winchell's doughnut that was just staring at me on the counter. Definitely regretting those decisions now. I'm sure we've all been here at least once? Here are few tips to instantly get back on track:
1️⃣ Eat healthy fats and proteins! Fats and proteins help stabilize blood sugar levels and manage hunger, while carbs cause spikes in blood sugar levels. The carbs from last night and this morning have me feeling pretty carby😜 Just made myself a green smoothie with protein powder to feel better and back on track. 2️⃣ Make the decision now that those were a "cheat meal," not a "cheat day." It is easy to keep the mindset "well already ate a doughnut, it's going to be one of those days." But no! The cheat meal is significantly better than the cheat day. 3️⃣ As always, chug the water. Have a glass of tea as well to aid in the digestion. 4️⃣ Schedule in a workout. Get up, and get active. Burn off the doughnut, you'll feel so much better!.
