Barbell Front Rack Squats
Tired of doing the same old back squats every leg day? Try adding in/ substituting for these Barbell Front Rack Squats.
Front squats positioning can be a challenge for most users and therefore people tend to avoid them. Instead tackle them using this modified grip using everyday wrist wraps.
As shown, wrap the wrap around the barbell and around your wrist, holding it snug with a tight fit. Then simply lower your chest into the barbell as it rests just below your neck on the collar bone.
Focus on depth and completely resting the weight on the rack blocks. Emphasize a powerful movement coming out of this low position working on strength, speed and power.
Note, a serious drop in weight will be needed to properly perform these so please take your ego pills 💊💊 prior to performing these.
