The sky was clear and starry. With the Aurora Australis forecast of storm levels, I grabbed my camera, put my jacket on and headed to the lakeside at stupid o'clock at night. It was really dark and quiet...felt like too quiet and too dark to be walking around on my own. I was patiently looking towards the south.
Suddenly a green glow appeared in the distance. It became more intense with every second. I could hear the sound of my heartbeat thumping in my ears as I realised I was witnessing something truly remarkable. My dream of seeing the Southern Lights was finally coming true. Mother Nature left me speechless and hungry for more, yet again. The season of chasing the Aurora Australis has officially started. .
I am absolutely speachless when I see views like this. 🏞
I usually stop, stare, start wondering and take my camera out to catch the moment 4ever📸 Such a perfect afternoon today!
