NOURISHING 'EVERYDAY' CHOCOLATE 😍 So just quickly I put 'everyday' in inverted commas because for me personally I am able to have this chocolate in my diet everyday moderately (mostly) and it works with my body - by no means does this mean it will be the same for everyone! I have a massive sweet tooth and chocolate has always been my weakness. I just love to have some after dinner with a cup of tea each night or I don't feel satisfied. When I eliminated dairy from my diet I started going for store bought vegan chocolate - some were yummy and some not so much, and were mostly quite costly! others like 85% Lindt chocolate still had hidden sugars and ingredients that I didn't want to be putting into my body if I was to have it everyday. This recipe is inspired by many other chocolate barks I have seen, but I always like to add in my own touches and fill it as much as possible with goodness, and the result was ahhhmazing and it lasts for so long! So I hope you get inspired to give it a try yourselves and I hope it makes you feel as good as it makes me feel 😘the beauty of this is you can alter the recipe whoever you like, if you don't want quit a bulky mixture then take whatever you like out or you can substitute any nut or berry you want! I put my bite size pieces into a jar and also cut some into larger slices Chocolate Recipe: •1/2 cup pure cacao powder •1/2 cup coconut oil •3 tbsp rice malt syrup or pure honey •1tbsp vanilla essence •1tbsp cinnamon - stir ingredients together over heat until melted and combined Filling recipe: •1 cup puffed millet •1/2 cup dedicated coconut (preservative free) •1/2 cup Goji berries •1/2 cup pepitas •1/4 cup cacao nibs •1/4 cup chia seeds •1/2 cup raw almonds •1/2 cup raw cashews •1/4 cup blueberries •1/4 cup raspberries - place all filling ingredients into a large mixing bowl, then pour melted chocolate mixture on top and stir well to combine • quickly put mixture into a lined baking tray, then sprinkle on some coconut on top (optional) • place into freezer for at least 3 hours, overnight preferable • once it has set cut it up into slices or bite size pieces and enjoy! Make sure you store this in the freezer as well 😊.

🌿DIY drinkable vitamins, aka Herbal Infusions. I've been drinking jars of this mix for the last few days, I think it's the change in seasons that has my body craving certain different nutrients. Whatever it is, this is hitting the spot. A herbal infusion is a super strong tea - to a jar add a few different herbs (the mix I've been chugging is 2 tbsps stinging nettle, 2 tbsps raspberry leaf, 1 tbsp goji berries), and pour over some freshly boiled water. Allow the mix to steep for at least 4 hours (I leave mine overnight), strain it, then enjoy. The long steep time ensures that all the nutrients from the herbs is infused in the water, which are then easily absorbed by your body when you drink this up. Cheers!☕️.
