Felt like this plate was applicable since I ate breakfast tacos for dinner 🤷🏽‍♀️. Gotta get my daily dose of eggs, ya know? It also doesn't help that I work at a breakfast restaurant all day. Makes me wanna eat breakfast all day errryyday. . To make --> heat up some @fourthandheart ghee in a skillet on low heat, once skillet is hot add two eggs. Let them sit for ~5 minutes (or until whites are set) then flip and cook for another few minutes. Once done, plop em on a couple tortillas with some spinach and red bell pepper and then top with a lil pepper, pink sea salt, and paprika and you got yourself a good lil breakfast taco 🌮.

Um dos motivos pelos quais eu escolhi o #BoloFantasiaCarameloEAvelã para ser o bolo do dia oficial do meu aniversário é que ele tem uma decoração bem diferente do que costumo ver e fazer. Vi avelãs chifrudas em cima do bolo na foto do livro e fiquei curiosa…

Um dos motivos pelos quais eu escolhi o #BoloFantasiaCarameloEAvelã para ser o bolo do dia oficial do meu aniversário é que ele tem uma decoração bem diferente do que costumo ver e fazer. Vi avelãs "chifrudas" em cima do bolo na foto do livro e fiquei curiosa para saber como fazer e mais empolgada ainda para ver se daria certo, se eu as prepararia tão lindas... Estas avelãs são a última coisa a ser feita para o bolo, mas, como em toda receita devemos conhecê-la primeiro antes de iniciar o preparo, pensei ser bom mostrá-las logo agora. Assim, vão ver como é fácil este processo e não irão desanimar ao ver o bolo pronto imaginando ser algo complexo. . . Separe algumas avelãs daquelas que foram tostadas e descascadas (umas cinco ou seis) e espete-a com palitos de dentes. Prepare uma tábua pesada que se firme sobre uma superfície lisa que possa servir para prender os palitos como na foto. Derreta 85 gramas (6 col sopa) de açúcar refinado em uma pequena panela. Quando estiver douradinho e homogêneo, retire do fogo e aguarde alguns segundos até começar a espessar. Mergulhe cada avelã na calda de forma que ela fique completamente coberta. Vá elevando-a acima da panela de forma que escorra a calda em fio até que comece a endurecer. Mergulhe novamente, se necessário. Firme o palito entre a mesa e a tábua (foto) e deixe descansar até que seque (alguns poucos minutos). Retire o palito com delicadeza (não o puxe, segure a avelã e vá rodando o palito de um lado para outro até que se solte). Aplique na decoração do bolo. Pronto! Já são três itens prontos, estas avelãs, as #AvelãsCaramelizadas e a #ReceitaCremeDeAvelã . . . Esta receita faz parte do meu projeto de testar todas as receitas do livro #GateauxDeRêve escrito pela fantástica @Linda_Lomelino (traduzindo e adaptando ingredientes e medidas para nossa terrinha Brasil). Testo uma receita no final de cada mês, publico-a no dia 30 (que é o dia do meu desaniversário). sticking with softer foods with a little bit of spice to help with this sickness 👊🏼 ground turkey + spinach sautéed in @chosenfoods avocado oil and fajita seasoning + my roasted carrots from monday + cauliflower rice topped with chili lime tj's seasoning + goat cheese + white bean hummus •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I was on my feed today and I saw how someone called @thecuttingveg a murderer for eating eggs 😳🙄 I am such a firm believer in a non-restrictive diet lifestyle and not eliminating foods because they're "bad" or someone else is doing it, and ultimately doing what's best for YOU our food culture is evolving into so many restrictive habits and exing out food groups (I highly encourage the Food Psych podcast episode #83 : The Truth About Elimination Diets and Orthorexia by @chr1styharrison that I listened to today 🙌🏼) it's no one's job to say if what you're doing is right or wrong keep doing your thing 💁🏼 and make choices for y-o-u 💕.
