Physical barriers are a very small part of the journey. The mental barriers are what seem to hold us back the most. I've been doing programming with push-ups for a LONG time. It's not until recently that I decided that I wanted to attempt to do them on my toes. If you never try, how will you know if you can or can't?! Try! You might succeed, you might fail, but pushing yourself out of that comfort zone has to come eventually!!.

Last day of my program. I wish I knew what number program this was but Ive had so many over the years, I cant keep track anymore. I've always been fortunate to have Philip write my programs for me. He has grown so much over the years with his programming skills and teaching skills, its crazy! I still remember my first program. Philip will probably hate me for this, but it was 5x5 of girl pushups and bodyweight rows. Its funny because I got my pushups from just that, go figure! 😂 Everyone starts somewhere. I speak for the both of us when I say we were both starting from scratch. I was Philips first student so it was his first time making a program for someone other than himself. Lucky for him, I couldnt even do 1 pushup or hang off monkey bars 😂. Guys thats a joke, he had a challenge on his hands. In a way it was good because "beginners make gains off anything", but the road to achieving certain skills required a bit more problem solving skills and lots of research. Philip never stopped learning and even till this day he still researches ways to improve his programming skills. Now look! I can bust out 10 reps of chinups anytime. This just goes to show smart programming goes a long way. But so does following the program. You need both to make gains! 😎.
