#viewgasm The reward for trekking 4km through forest and dodging two massive spiders and a snake (ok, 'dodging' might be exaggerating but still... ).
The Maheno shipwreck has been on Fraser Island since 1935 after getting caught in a cyclone. The ship was a luxury passenger liner when it was built. Just the top deck is left exposed, most of the ship having been covered in sand..
Driving on 75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. All the sand comes from way down the east coast of Australia and has been building up here for hundreds of thousands of years. We had a two-day trip and took turns driving on the beach and off road. It was a lot of fun!.
Big Pineapple! We found this in Woombye, Sunshine Coast #bigthings .
Gardner Falls, Sunshine Coast...another great tip from a local! The water here is super deep, there were loads of people jumping, diving and swinging in from ropes. A good way to cool off!.
Drove to Sunshine Coast last night and arrived in the dark. Love waking up and seeing where we are #sunrise#nofilterneeded .
Sandboarding on Moreton Island. Fun going down, not so much fun hiking back up the sand dune 😉.
We took a day trip to Moreton Island near Brisbane to go kayaking, snorkeling and sandboarding. It's one of the largest sand islands in the world. There are no sealed roads, just sand, which means 4WD and a bumpy ride!.
